Upgrading QuickMail Servers
When upgrading an existing QuickMail v2.5 mailserver you should make note of any custom settings you have made to the Apple Modem Tool in either the QM Administrator or any gateways using it. These settings include custom modem initializations or phone numbers. The Server Install script upgrades the Apple Modem Tool and will not retain these settings.

Upgrading QM-Script Gateway mailcenters
No action is necessary if you use the Server Install; however, three of the scripts installed by the Server Install have been upgraded since QuickMail v2.5. They are: “CompuServe.Script.v2.03”, “MCIMail.Script.v2.03”, and “SprintMail.SprintNet.v2.02”. While their contents have been upgraded, the version number in the filenames have not been updated to reflect the new version. Modification histories and the correct version numbers can be found within these scripts. The filenames were not modified to ease the upgrading of QM-Script Gateway mailcenters. This problem will be corrected in a future version of QuickMail.
